Can you guys believe that it is Memorial Day Weekend? Ordinarily, I am a LOT more excited about the unofficial start to SUMMER ( yay beach days); however with this boot situation, I am not AS excited as usual (though still pretty psyched). I love summer weekends. BBQs, parties, the beach, the pool, the sun, just everything. I know that it can be super hard to stick to your guns and eat clean when Jimbo is serving up giant cheeseburgers and beers (mmmmm burgers and beer), BUT it is possible to still indulge while staying on track. The key is planning and preparation. Not much fun bringing a plain piece of grilled chicken and some wilted greens to a party though is it? Good news. You don’t have to (and why would you) do that!
My challengers requested that I compile a bunch of 21 day fix friendly recipes with a Memorial Day weekend BBQ twist. I reached out to the fabulous Gina Homolka of SkinnyTaste.com and she generously let me link to her amazing recipes here. (NOTE: all of her recipes are converted for Weight Watchers currently. I am working with her to convert them to 21 Day fix container breakdowns as well).
